About

A studio built around direct engineering, not layers of management

Stellar Forge is a technology engineering studio founded and run by a single senior engineer — which means every project you bring gets direct hands-on attention, not a requirements hand-off through account managers.

Why "Stellar Forge"

A forge is where raw material becomes something structural — shaped deliberately, under real pressure, to hold up. That's the standard applied to every system built here: not just working code, but engineering that holds up under real traffic, real data, and real operational pressure. "Stellar" reflects the other half of the standard — building toward what's ahead, not just what's asked for today.

Background

Stellar Forge is built on 5–6 years of hands-on experience across AWS infrastructure, FinOps (cloud cost engineering), and full-stack application development. That background shapes how projects get built here: infrastructure decisions are made with cost and reliability in view from the start, not as a cleanup exercise after launch.

What working with us looks like

  • Direct communication with the engineer building your system
  • Architecture decisions explained, not just delivered
  • Security, monitoring, and cost considered from day one
  • Ongoing support available after launch, not a one-time handoff

What we believe

Engineering principles we build by

Production is the standard

Software that works in a demo but not under real load, real data, or real attackers isn't finished — it's a draft.

Security isn't optional scope

Authentication, access control, and data isolation are treated as requirements from day one, not items to revisit later.

Visibility beats guessing

Systems should tell you what's wrong before your customers do. Observability is built in, not bolted on.

Cost is an architecture decision

Infrastructure choices are made with their long-term running cost in view, informed by direct FinOps experience.

Simple, until it can't be

Complexity is added when the problem actually requires it — not by default, and not to look impressive.

Ongoing, not one-and-done

The best engagements continue past launch — because systems need maintaining, monitoring, and evolving.
